Anne White - Co-Creator of Zimbowties

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Anne runs the operations of Zimbowties in Zimbabwe, including working with our talented artisans and coordinating the Bow Ties for School Ties scholarship program. She has over 15 years of experience manufacturing and developing clothing in Zimbabwe.

Anne’s inspiration for creating Zimbowties was the challenge of being able to create something unique from the resources available to her in Zimbabwe.

When Anne’s not working in her day-to-day job or running Zimbowties, you can find her in a swimming pool coaching kids and adults to swim.

Kim White - Co-Creator of Zimbowties

Also born and raised in Zimbabwe, Kim runs the sales and marketing at Zimbowties and leads on the business and charity development. He has over five years of product design experience, a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from The Watson Institute and a Master’s in Product Design from the University of Strathclyde.

Kim’s motivation for creating Zimbowties was to start something that would inspire his fellow Zimbabweans, young and old, to think differently about their own potential and the resources available to them.

When Kim’s not working on Zimbowties or freelancing as a product designer you can find him throwing around a Frisbee or stuck in a book.
